The high-rise in the north of the city of Linz brings lively and diversified facilities for living, working, and education to the urban fabric. This new neighborhood building block is part of a consistent urban-design ensemble and helps create a varied and livable cityscape.

For the project, we have brought together a high-caliber project team: Transsolar, a globally active energy systems engineering firm, will be responsible for building systems and HVAC engineering, the landscaping will be done by Berlin-based landscape architects Man Made Land, and the communication pros of raum&kommunikation from Vienna will assist us in developing concepts for good-neighborly relations.

Four buildings with a total of 200 apartments frame a generous outdoor space similar to what in former times was the central grassy commons in a village. A network of walkways cutting through the lawn area connects the estate with the adjacent streets and green spaces, upgrading the entire neighborhood through openness and accessibility.

We were commissioned to do an all-around redesign of the Permanent Austrian Representation in Brussels. The premises now no longer serve merely functional purposes but are a calling card of good taste, of traditional Austrian craftsmanship while providing for an urbane and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

In collaboration with three residential developers, Migra, Neues Leben, and Wogem, AllesWirdGut and feld72 won the developer’s competition for the construction of 450 apartments on Kapellenweg with a concept informed by the tradition-honored Viennese municipal public housing estate, a clear and confident ensemble laid out around a large communal courtyard: this is the Kapellenhof estate.
